All You Knead

If you’re looking for the purest, straight up classic bakery spot in Beacon, All You Knead is literally All You Need. My only complaint about All You Knead is its limited hours. They change a lot and it’s the biggest drag when I show up and they’re closed. That’s because they’re freaking AMAZING at what they do. Everything they make is delicious (I’ve yet to have something I didn’t like…and they make both savory and sweet stuff), and it’s also cheap… you can get a lot of food for your money.

All You Knead is tiny and it’s basically counter service only. For awhile during COVID they were selling straight from the door. (Now you might be able to go in and look at the cases, but this is not a place where you will linger. Still, it’s fun to go in and watch the bakers working their magic (and it smells magical, too).

If you want one of the specialties of the house, try the stuffed, overflowing fruit danishes. I particularly love the blueberry with cheese. In terms of savory food, they make a variety of empanadas, egg rolls, and pies, and they always have a vegan option, which is so considerate for a town that attracts a crowd like Beacon.

When you’re craving carbs, this should be at the top of your list. Just make sure you check out the hours first online because you really don’t want to get your hopes up. (Luckily, they do sell at the Beacon Farmer’s Market weekly on Sundays!)

To Beaconcise: A delicious takeout only bakery with old school sweet and savory treats and a standout at the Farmer’s Market.
